How to install Tintero Beta
Simple steps for each platform
Windows
1. Download the .exe file 2. Run as administrator if needed 3. Follow the installation wizard 4. Ready to write!
macOS (coming soon)
The macOS version will be available in future updates. Meanwhile, you can use the web version when it's ready.
Linux
Recommended: • Flatpak from Flathub.org • Snapcraft from Snapcraft.io Alternative option - .deb: 1. Download the .deb file 2. Install with: sudo dpkg -i Tintero.deb 3. Resolve dependencies if needed
Android
1. Open Google Play Store on your device 2. Search for "Tintero" or use the direct link 3. Tap "Install" 4. Open the app and configure your account
Requirements
Minimum specifications
Desktop (Windows/Linux)
Any computer capable of running a modern web browser can run our application. The app is extremely lightweight and uses your system's native webview, delivering near-native performance with minimal resource usage.
Android
Available on Google Play Store. When you visit the store, it will automatically check if your device is compatible with the app before allowing you to download it.
Connectivity
Internet connection recommended for device synchronization and automatic cloud backup.
